Daniel Zhu joined Tsing Capital in 2010-2013 as a venture partner of China Environment Fund of Tsing Capital (www.tsingcaiptal.com). As a founding partner of Econovation, and China ecofund, Mr. Zhu has been working for numerous Chinese and foreign Sustainability and clean-tech companies as a strategic and financial advisor since 2001, including senior adviser to Wuhan Linuo Solar (www.linuo-solar.com), the listed company in Wuhan city, and senior adviser to Sunpreme, the USA based Solar cell manufacturing firm invested by IFC, part of the World Bank Group (www.sunpreme.com). In 1995 – 1997, Daniel Zhu worked as the China Chief Representative for the consulting and EPC arm of Waste Management Inc (a Fortune 500 company www.wm.com). Daniel Zhu is the core expert of low carbon innovator program of WWF (www.wwf.org), and has been working for numerous non-profit organizations for sustainability, e.g. UNEP endorsed Blue Economy program (www.zeri.org). mentor of MIT start up program in Boston, mentor of Tsinghua Science Park in Beijing, Shanghai Eco Economics Association (www.sasee.org), Eco-city builder in San Francisco, to name a few. And has been invited to make numerous speeches on cleantech and eco development and finance in New York, Washington DC. Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Helsinki, Melbourne, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, etc. Daniel Zhu received his BA in Economics from Zhejiang University of China and has remained a faculty member there in Finance. Mr. Zhu earned his M.A. from Indiana University, USA.
